Xilam Animation ranked #9 in Production at Kidscreen’s Hot50 in 2019

The Hot50 welcomed a fair share of first-timers in 2019, including Xilam animation.

Xilam enters the Production top-10 for the first time, as the category’s lone French representative. In other firsts, the studio started production on Oggy Oggy, its first-ever CGI series and preschool spinoff of classic 2D comedy Oggy and the Cockroaches. Xilam moved further into CGI animation with Jérémy Clapin’s feature film I Lost My Body, which won best film in the independent International Critics’ Week portion of the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, and is also in production on a Disney+ non-verbal reboot of Chip ‘n’ Dale.
