Winner of the 2020 Cartoon Movie Tributes in the Producer of the Year category!

Xilam Animation and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Cinéma (France) win the 2020 Cartoon Movie Tributes, in the “Producer of the Year” category for “I Lost my Body” by Jérémy Clapin.

During the 22nd Cartoon Movie, participants voted the winners of the Cartoon Tributes, the awards for outstanding contribution to the development of European Animation over the last year. The ceremony took place in Bordeaux on Thursday 5 March and the winners received a trophy, symbol of the professional recognition from their peers. The aim of the Cartoon Movie Tributes is to reward outstanding achievements, companies or personalities that have had a positive and dynamic influence on the animation feature film industry. All professionals attending the Cartoon Movie voted for their favorite nominee in three categories: Director, Distributor and Producer of the Year.

The Cartoon Movie Tributes awarded Submarine (Netherlands) in 2019 and Platige Films, Kanaki Films, Walking the Dog, Wüste Film, Animationsfabrik, Puppetworks (Poland / Spain / Belgium / Germany / Hungary) for “Another Day of Life” in 2018.
